The pep rally took place on February 17th.  It consisted of a performance from the band, games played by both students and teachers, winter sports and senior superlatives. The first game was played by two students from each class. The game was “hungry hungry hippos” where one students was pushed by the other to grab as many balloons as possible, the freshman won this one. The next game consisted of a teacher and a student. The teacher put shaving cream on his face and the students threw cheese balls trying to get them to stick, the freshman won this one again. Then came the traditional competition to see which class is the loudest. After having to scream our hearts out two times, the seniors took the win. The winter sports were announced which were, girls weightlifting, boys JV and varsity soccer, girls varsity soccer who won districts, and boy and girls JV and varsity basketball.
